Quote requests may include your name, company, phone number, email address, equipment needs, project details, and the page used to submit the request.

Credit account applications may also include business information, addresses, identification details, directors, trade references, next-of-kin details, supporting documents, and electronic consent records.

Website analytics

When website analytics is enabled, we measure page visits and actions such as quote starts and submissions, branch selections, calls, WhatsApp clicks, and directions clicks. These events do not include the name, phone number, email address, or message entered into a quote form.

The analytics provider may process technical information such as browser and device details, approximate location, and network information under its own privacy terms.

Why we use the information

We use submitted information to respond to enquiries, prepare hire quotes, assess credit applications, communicate about applications, maintain operational records, and meet applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

Who may receive the information

Information is available to authorised Open Hire staff and service providers that support website hosting, secure record storage, and email delivery. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Storage and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect submitted information. We retain records only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and any applicable legal requirements.
